Day 4:1 Living Xochimilco + Coyoacán

Xochimilco, “the land of eternal flowers” or boat parties?

Dive into one of Mexico City’s unique lake-spirited towns. Xochimilco is well known for its chinampas and the trajinera rides throughout its channels, which evoke ancient times when the great Tenochtitlán was a city that stood out among its water railways. Live the authentic experience as you ride in a typical local boat while tasting traditional food, cerveza, and listening to mariachis along the way (yes, they are performing on a boat!). End the journey with a visit to Coyoacán, a beautiful colonial suburb, and walk around its picturesque alleys and widely known market.
